Principles of Human Rights Management

HL Klemove strives to continually comply with the labor-related laws of each country and region and with the requests of the clients,
as well as to adhere to all labor principles ratified by the countries, as recommended by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR),

Respect Human Rights
Respect all stakeholders as humans, and make every effort to prevent psychological and/or physically inhumane treatments. Take strict measures according to the disciplinary rules upon the confirmation of inhumane actions, such as sexual harassment, abuse, physical punishment, verbal abuse, etc.
Prohibition on Discrimination
Discrimination in the HR process, such as hiring, wages, promotions, etc., based on the employees’ gender, age, race, skin color, nationality, region of origin, disability, religion, political orientation, marital status, pregnancy, childbirth, etc. is prohibited, and diversity is respected.
Prohibition on Forced Labor and Child Labor
We do not coerce work that limits psychological or physical freedom for employment or to maintain employment, such as assault, duress, confinement, fees, expenses, slavery and human trafficking, etc. We do not request to transfer identifications issued by a government, passport or work permit as a condition of employment. We comply with the legal minimum work age stipulated by each country and region where the businesses are located.
Responsible Management of the Supply Chain
Not only the subsidiaries, but the companies in contract with HL Klemove and all partner companies, including the companies supplying personnel and operate according to the terms in this declaration, comply with all relevant laws applicable to the region where the businesses are conducted. We expect to fulfill and fully support the ‘Human Rights Management.’ Moreover, we actively participate in the activities to minimize the human rights and environmental impact that may occur during the mineral mining process in the high-risk areas (conflict areas) and promote co-existence with the partner companies for reinforcing competitiveness and growth.
Compliance with the Work Conditions and Labor Laws
We comply with all rules on regular employment, overtime, holidays, and wages, etc. stipulated by the labor-related laws in the country and region where the businesses are being conducted. Also, we provide sufficient opportunities for communication to all employees.
Health and Safety
We comply with the health and safety standards legally required by the countries and regions where the businesses are conducted. We will conduct regular education that reflects the legal requirements and manage all facilities within the place of business to provide a safe and clean work environment to all employees.
Protecting the Information of the Stakeholders
We will pay attention so the products and services provided by HL Klemove do not harm the life, health and safety of the stakeholders, and we will take the suitable measures to protect the personal information of the clients collected through business activities.
Guarantee of Environmental Rights
We will establish and maintain an environmental management system to adhere to the principles of a preventative approach for the environmental issues, establish an emergency plan to prevent serious environmental damage and environmental disasters and will disclose any information related to the environment.
